From June 17 to 20, 2026, Otrera took part in the 10th edition of VivaTech, Europe’s largest event dedicated to innovation and deeptech. For this anniversary edition, which brought together more than 200,000 visitors and 4,000 exhibitors at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, the Otrera team was hosted at the Région Sud pavilion, alongside standout companies from the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur ecosystem.
Roxane Delsol, Frédéric LeDuigou, Solène Fornengo and Frédéric Varraine represented Otrera over these three days, meeting decision-makers, investors, industrial players and institutional representatives from around the world.
VivaTech, a new milestone in an acceleration phase
This participation is part of a strong acceleration phase for Otrera, just a few weeks after the announcement of the €17 million fundraising round led with the EDF Group and a consortium of leading industrial players and investors. At VivaTech, the objective was to sustain the momentum: present the programme to a broader audience, engage with the French deeptech ecosystem and internationalise the dialogue around Otrera’s 4th-generation sodium-cooled fast neutron reactors (RNR-Na).
The RNR-Na developed by Otrera generated strong interest, particularly among stakeholders focused on industrial decarbonisation and the energy transition.
Otrera, a strong presence in the deeptech landscape
This edition was also an opportunity to speak with several media outlets covering the event, including Maddyness, a leading media outlet in the French deeptech ecosystem, and La Provence, which dedicated a feature to the innovation momentum driven by the Région Sud pavilion.
