This initiative brings together several prominent players in the advanced nuclear sector to redesign the industrial framework for fuel supply and accelerate the deployment of fast neutron reactors on both national and international scales.<\/p>\n<p>The working group, spearheaded by Orano and including Otrera, Hexana, and Newcleo, aims to evaluate and rebuild the industrial infrastructure (manufacturing, reprocessing) and logistical frameworks (transportation and regulatory considerations) necessary for the production of MOX (Mixed Oxide Fuel) for fast neutron reactors.
